Beautiful bhutan escape

On arrival at Phuntsholing (border town adjoining Jaigaon, India), you will check in to your hotel. After completing immigration formalities, you can visit Zangto Pelri Lhakhang and take a walk around the local market. Overnight stay will be in Phuntsholing.

After breakfast, you will drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, through scenic mountain roads. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you may explore the local market area. Overnight stay will be in Thimphu.

Today you will explore Thimphu’s major attractions including the giant Buddha statue at Buddha Dordenma, the memorial site National Memorial Chorten, and the impressive fortress-monastery Tashichho Dzong. You can also visit the Folk Heritage Museum and local handicraft markets. Overnight stay will be in Thimphu.

After breakfast, you will proceed to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass. At Dochula Pass, you can enjoy panoramic Himalayan views and see the 108 memorial chortens. On arrival in Punakha, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay will be in Punakha.

Today you will visit the beautiful Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Later, you can take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Fertility Temple. Overnight stay will be in Punakha.

After breakfast, you will drive to Paro. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you can explore Paro town and its local cafes. Overnight stay will be in Paro.

Today you will visit the iconic Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery), perched dramatically on a cliffside. The hike offers breathtaking views and is one of Bhutan’s most famous experiences. Later, you can visit Rinpung Dzong. Overnight stay will be in Paro.

After breakfast, you will drive back to Phuntsholing and complete exit formalities before continuing to Siliguri. On arrival, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
