Sikkim Tour Overview
Sikkim is a beautiful Himalayan state in northeastern India known for its snow-capped mountains, peaceful monasteries, alpine lakes, and rich culture. It is one of India’s cleanest and most scenic destinations, offering stunning views of the world’s third-highest mountain, Mount Kanchenjunga.
Itinerary
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, you will drive to Gangtok, which takes approximately four to five hours through scenic mountain roads. After checking in at your hotel, you can spend the evening exploring MG Marg and enjoying the pleasant hill town atmosphere. Overnight stay will be in Gangtok.
After breakfast, you will proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a beautiful high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by mountains. If permits are available, you will continue to Nathula Pass at the Indo-China border. Later, you will return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay will be in Gangtok.
After breakfast, you will drive to Lachen in North Sikkim via scenic mountain roads with waterfalls and valleys. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and rest. Overnight stay will be in Lachen.
Early in the morning, you will visit Gurudongmar Lake and later return to Lachen for breakfast. Afterward, you will proceed to Lachung and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay will be in Lachung.
After breakfast, you will visit Yumthang Valley and later drive back to Gangtok. The journey is long but scenic, and you will reach by evening. Overnight stay will be in Gangtok.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax or explore Mall Road in the evening. Overnight stay will be in Darjeeling.
Early in the morning, you will visit Tiger Hill for sunrise. Later, visit Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and enjoy a joy ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway if time permits. Overnight stay will be in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
